Figure Drawings:
These were my figure drawings from live models, they were all timed and the class was given from 20mins to about an hour.

Figure Modeling:
Recognize David? This sculpture was done in figure modeling at a different school, but I guess the world of models is pretty small in the bay area. He brought his dog to some sessions, and she loved eating the plasticine and paper towels, he couldn’t move since he was modeling, so our class took turns chasing her down and distracting her. I believe this was his last session as a model ever, and he told us the mole on his back was diagnosed by a student as a melanoma one class, because it was a different size between the first session and last he modeled for.

Plasticine Thumb:
The photo quality is unfortunately poor. This assignment was to sculpt out thumb to scale, While i’m very proud of it and wished I had documented it better, it was one of the hottest weeks of the year and plasticine melts very easily. It needed to be stored in the fridge, and transported in a cooler to be turned in as my assignment for class. I was worried a photo session would result in damaging it.

Self Portrait:
I never quite finished this self portrait, these are the rough photos of how far I got. Hopefully I can attempt it again someday, maybe I’ll be older and have some interesting wrinkles to sculpt.
